Foods That Burn Fat – From Fruits to Veg to Meat
When referring to foods that burn fat, we don’t mean eating a type of food with burn away your fat and flatten your tummy just by eating it, it means that the foods that you will be eating supports your metabolism and/or breaking down your fatty components.
Now, when you were younger, remember when your mom would always tell you to eat your greens? Well, she was right, vegetables and fruit are the best assets you can come across when it comes to supporting the burning of fat.
The reason foods like these burn fat is because of the fast metabolic rate when they are combined with a training program, compared to other foods with a training program. Now, when it does come to some specific foods, those that are high in fibre or rich with vitamins (more so vitamin C) will help to burn fat, many of these fruits and vegetables includes:
Vegetables
Cabbage
Celery
Carrots
Peppers
Fruits
Grapefruits
Lemons
Limes
Oranges
Water Melons
Apples
Misc.
Oat Meal
Now studies have show that out of all the vitamins, Vitamin C is the best for burning fat because it dilutes fat so it becomes easier to burn off during a workout. Also, if you eat Citrus Fruits on a daily business you can increase your metabolism and burn fat. Now although this is about foods, I must stress on liquids, mainly, WATER. Now its not normally the first thing that springs to mind but it is one of the best items to have during any diet program, we all know that water keeps your feeling full, but also keeps you hydrated and in turn, keeping hydrated improves fat burning, it has been known that those who are less hydrated have a slower metabolic rate.

Now this may be a bit of a stretch for some, because to be honest, spicy foods aren’t really everybody’s cup of tea, but because they give your heart rate a kick when they are eaten it increases your metabolic rate. Now we all know protein increases muscle mass right? Well it also allows for fat to be burnt, this is because during exercise it causes your body to burn hotter so it helps to burn calories and fat. Now of course, just eating all the named above ingredients isn’t your only option there are tons more fruit and veg out there for you to choose from, but also remember just eating them alone isn’t going to burn off fat either, you must also combine them with regular exercise, only then will you start to see results.
